Social Committee   

The Social Committee, composed of a Chair and a committee of many volunteers, is responsible for making all arrangements for and coordination of parties. Included are annual events such as the:

• Anniversary of Singles on Sailboats
• After Spring Training Party
• Seafood Feast
• Halloween Party

The January Awards Banquet, celebrating SOS' Anniversary is a gala event. Awards presented by the Commodore include the Rookie Of the Year Award, the Ed Kline Member of the Year Award, the Elli Abramson Education Award and the Commodore's Award, recognizing those who have advanced the sailing education of members and members who have contributed through volunteerism.

Additionally other parties are held throughout the year at various marinas and shore side locations.
