Spring Training
A full day of classes covering a wide variety of sailing and boating topics. There are presentations for everyone from the novice to experienced sailor and boater. There are five “time tracks” and six “presentation choices” per track. You choose one presentation per track. Each presentation is tailored to a specific level of sailing experience.
The three levels of training are designated as:
Low - limited to no sailing experience
Moderate - moderate sailing experience
Experienced - experienced sailors or Skippers.

For our long-term members, who have been enjoying Spring Training for several years, we are pleased to share that we also focused on offering brand new presentations. This resulted in eight new topics that had not been offered before. That’s more than 25% BRAND NEW PRESENTATIONS and speakers!

SOS Wellness Protocol
All participants attending SOS in-person events should be feeling well. They should not attend an event if they have symptoms of a communicable respiratory or gastrointestinal illness, are “feeling like something is coming on,” have a recent significant exposure to someone with a communicable respiratory or gastrointestinal illness, or have not waited a recommended isolation time after a recent respiratory or gastrointestinal infection.
In addition, a skipper/host may have further requirements or request other preventive measures (for example, crew or guests having received the currently recommended COVID-19 vaccine or wearing masks when below deck).  All in-person participants should expect to be denied admission without a refund if they fail to comply with this policy.
